Here are some food preservation ideas!
Brown bananas: Make banana bread or chips, or peel and pop into a resealable bag to freeze for smoothies.
Wilted lettuce: Plunge into an ice bath and watch it get revived.
Stale bread: Tear into 1-inch pieces and toss with olive oil and a pinch of salt; toast in the oven until golden brown.
Pickle (almost) anything: slice your food (cucumber, cabbages) and whisk together with basic brine made of water, vinegar, sweetener and some garlic. Pack them in a jar and refrigerate until pickles taste sufficiently 'pickled'!
